春は、1年でいちばんたくさんの種類のお花が咲く季節。
市場にも庭先や道端にも。足元にも頭上にも。
香りが楽しめるお花も多く、まさに五感で花を楽しめる季節です。
けれど、うれしくてワクワクする反面、回数の限られた花育レッスンで、
どんなテーマでどんな花材を用意するか、本当に迷ってしまいます。
今回も、あれこれあれこれ迷ったのですが…
王道の「チューリップ」を主役にすることにしました。
実は、今までチューリップはほとんど使ったことがなかったのです。
なんというか、こう、スタンダードすぎて（笑）。
でも、最近は品種改良のおかげでたくさんの種類があり、
以前のぽってりしたイメージはほとんどありません。
それに、チューリップをメインにして、他の花は低めに生けてみると、
小さな花壇のようにも見えて、いかにも春らしい雰囲気になる。
そんな発見もあって、ぜひぜひ使ってみたくなりました。
そして春の間中、咲いているイメージですが、
実はチューリップのシーズンは3月でおしまい。
急いでレッスンに取り入れなければ！なのです。
