先週に引き続き、今週もチューリップを使ったfor kidsレッスンを行ないました。
まずは、先週の代官山レッスンでの様子を。
メインに用意したのは、こちらのチューリップ。
ユリ咲きの明るいオレンジ色。バレリーナという品種です。
昔からある丸っこいフォルムとは違い、
シュッとしていてバレリーナという名前にも納得です。
ー
そして、花器の代わりにしたのは、ソースなどの空き缶。
これにクラフト紙を巻き、シールやリボンでデコレーションしました。
代官山でのレッスンでは、シールが大人気でした！
丸にハート形を重ねたり、小さな工夫がたくさん見られましたよ。
さて、そこに花を生けていって完成したのは…
どのお子さんの作品も、高さのある仕上がりでした。
たぶん、チューリップの葉を残すようにカットし、
それに合わせて全体のバランスをとったのでしょうね。
たてに伸びていくような、清々しいラインでした。
そして。
作っている間に、なんとチューリップがどんどん開花してしまいました！
空調がよく効く部屋だったので、花弁が反り返るほど大胆に開花。
これには、私も驚いてしまいました。
でも、そんな変化を目の当たりにしてもらえたのは
よかったかも、とちょっと思ったりもしています。
そして、ここからは世田谷ものづくり学校でのレッスンの様子。
こちらで用意したのは、ユリ咲きに加え、八重咲きのチューリップ。
花びらの先がフリンジのようになっていて、
開花するとバラのように豪華な雰囲気になるはず。
それからフリージアやスイトピー、コデマリなど春の花々などを加えました。
この日も、花器の代わりは空き缶です。
ここに、先週と同じ材料を用意して工作してもらったのですが、
みんな選んだのはマスキングテープ！
しかも、色合いもピンクが好きな子が多かったようです。
お花の生け方で代官山のお友達とちょっと傾向が違ったのは、
どのお子さんも茎を短めにカットしていたこと。
花を生け進めるほどに、茎の短い花を生けるのは当然むずかしくなるのですが、
みんな苦心しながらも、ちゃんと生けていました。
チューリップやフリージアなど茎がスッと長いものはその長さを活かし、
他の花たちをを足元にあしらったのは、9歳の女の子。
花それぞれのフォルムを見極めて生けているのだなーと
感心して見ていました。
ー
そして…。
もう１人分を撮り忘れていました！！ きゃーっ。
申し訳ありません。
5歳の女の子だったのですが、それはそれはユニークでした。
小さな枝を葉っぱや茎に差して、
アクセサリーがいっぱいついてるみたいになっていて。
子どもならではの発想がたくさん詰まっていた作品でした。

ようやく春らしい日が続くようになり、
卒業式・卒園式、入園式・入学式シーズンに突入ですね。
新しい生活が始まる方も多いのでしょうね。
tetteでも、新たなレッスンの機会を設けさせていただくことになりそうです。
また、新しいチャレンジにもどんどん取り組んでいく予定です。
来年度も、楽しく豊かな時間を過ごしていただくお手伝いが
少しでもできるよう、地味に…、いえ地道に！がんばってまいります。
